BERGEN
Bergen is a city on Norway’s southwestern coast. It's surrounded by mountains and fjords, including Sognefjord, the country’s longest and deepest. Bryggen features colorful wooden houses on the old wharf, once a center of the Hanseatic League's trading empire. The Fløibanen Funicular goes up Fløyen Mountain for panoramic views and hiking trails. The Edvard Grieg House is where the renowned composer once lived.

TROMSO
Tromso is a charming Arctic city surrounded by dramatic mountains and shimmering fjords. Known for its cosy atmosphere, colourful wooden buildings and rich polar history, it offers a perfect mix of culture and wilderness.

Day 4

Bergen (B)

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Day at leisure
Day 5

Bergen - Tromso (B)

  • Breakfast at your hotel
  • Transfer Bergen City - Airport with Mercedes Lux or similar
  • On arrival in Tromso transfer to your hotel
Day 6

Tromso (B)

  • After breakfast at hotel, start the Northern Lights chase with authentic North Norwegian charm (5- 7 h) 
  • You are picked up from your Tromsø hotel by minibus on a chase for the magical Northern Lights. With good local knowledge, we will find the best area for the lights and good scenery for your pictures. 
  • To find a clear sky, we will drive where we must, even to Finland if needed. During the evening, your guide will tell you interesting information about the Northern Lights, both the science and the folklore. 
  • You will also be shown how to adjust your camera settings for pictures of the Northern Lights, and we will take pictures of you with the lights for you to take home to show your family and friends. (Available for download in original size from our Flickr account). 
  • If the weather allows, we will make a bonfire and enjoy roasted marshmallows and may also visit our lavvu (our modern Sami shelter).

NORWAY
