Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Hanoi

  • Upon arrival at the airport and after completing all customs and immigration procedures, please proceed to the exit gate. Your guide will be waiting in the arrivals lobby, holding a sign with your name. You will then be met and transferred to your hotel.
    Please note: Early check-in is not included and is subject to availability.
Day 2

Hanoi (B/L)

  • Explore Hanoi’s rich history and charm with a visit to the revered Ho Chi Minh Complex, including the Mausoleum, Stilt House, and iconic One Pillar Pagoda. Continue to the 11th-century Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, before stopping at the famous Bun Cha Huong Lien, where President Obama dined with Anthony Bourdain.
     In the afternoon, visit the Ethnology Museum for insight into Vietnam’s diverse ethnic cultures. 
    End the day with a guided walk through the lively Old Quarter, soaking in the colonial architecture and vibrant street life, perfect for a coffee or local snack break.
Day 3

Hanoi - Ha Long (B/L/D)

  • Depart the hotel and travel to Halong Bay, passing through picturesque countryside dotted with peaceful villages and grazing water buffalo along the way. 
    Upon arrival, board your cruise with a welcome drink, followed by a freshly prepared seafood lunch as the boat begins its journey through the stunning bay. Admire the dramatic limestone formations from the sundeck or the comfort of your private cabin with large windows. 
    In the afternoon, enjoy activities such as swimming, kayaking, or exploring one of the island’s impressive caves. Later, join an onboard Vietnamese cooking demonstration led by the cruise chefs before sitting down to a delightful seafood dinner under the stars.
    Spend the night in an elegant, air-conditioned cabin featuring handcrafted wooden interiors. For those interested, night fishing is also available before a restful overnight stay on board.
