Castle Hill is indeed a must-visit for stunning views of the Danube, especially at sunset. The Fisherman's Bastion and Buda Castle nearby add to the majestic scenery, making it an ideal spot for photos.
And you can’t visit Budapest without trying the local cuisine! Goulash is a hearty classic, and lángos is such a treat—perfect for grabbing as a snack while exploring. Have you thought about any specific places you want to eat at or other activities you’d like to experience in Budapest?
Vienna, Located on the Danube, is well known for its baroque architecture. With pristine examples such as the Schӧnbrunn Palace, the Hofburg Imperial Palace and the Belvedere, you’ll never cease to be enthralled by Vienna’s beautiful buildings. There are also high-end shops, restaurants and museums to spend your time in as you soak in the cultured ambience of this ‘City of Music’. If you’d like to see more of Vienna from a unique vantage point, we recommend a ride on the Wiener Riesenrad Ferris wheel in the Prater amusement park. The wheel dates back to the late 19th century and gives a magical glimpse of the city from on high. And if you enjoy having a browse in markets, the Naschmarkt has more than 100 stalls to explore – many of which serve local food.
Imposing cathedrals, peaceful gardens and canal walks are just some of the other things to see and do in this graceful and gorgeous Austrian city.
When in Prague, one moment you feel like you’re in a modern, vibrant city, and the next you’re transported back to medieval times when you stroll through the streets of Prague. The city’s popularity shows no sign of waning as holidaymakers from all over the world descend on it every year to see the castle, the Astronomical Clock which is over 600 years old and to take pictures of the statues lining the 14th-century Charles Bridge.
Prague is also well known for its many churches and cathedrals such as the Gothic St. Vitus Cathedral.
