Take a leisurely walk to Atrani, located east of Amalfi.  It is tucked away from traffic and noise and spend some time exploring the intricate maze of lanes and its beautiful beach

Need to know when traveling to Italy

Currency: The Euro is Italy's official currency
Banks and ATM: Credit Cards are accepted everywhere. Just notify your local bank that you are traveling to Italy before your departure
Local Travel: only use licensed taxis (taxi sign on the roof) and make sure the meter is reset before you start your journey
Eating Out: Italians have lunch around 1 in the afternoon and dinner around 8:00 pm. It is customary to leave small change for a tip on the table, or up to five percent of the total bill if the service is good
