Arrive Chennai
- You will be met by our representative who will assist you through immigration. Transfer to the hotel and check-in.
Chennai (B)
- Depart the hotel in the morning on a half a day tour of Chennai visiting its museum; the Art and Bronze Gallery. (Closed on Fridays and Public holidays).
- Drive through the Flower and Fruit market; High court; Fort museum; Marina Beach; San Thome Cathedral.
- Return to your hotel and remainder of the day is at your leisure.
Chennai – Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram (B)
- Depart in the morning for Mahabalipuram visiting temples at Kanchipuram en-route. Kanchipuram the Golden city was one of the seven sacred cities of India and once had 1000 temples. now only 200 remain. It is also famed for its hand-woven cotton and Kanjivaram silk.
- On arrival check-in at the hotel. Mahabalipuram was the main port of the Pallava dynasty and has exquisite rock-cut monuments; monolithic structures and bas-reliefs. It is also a beach resort.
- Afternoon visit to the beach temple.
- Return to the hotel.
